Billy Gene “Bill” Kinder peacefully passed on from this life on June 23, 2015; he was 76 years old. Bill was born in Lebanon, KY to William Burton Kinder and Geneva Powers Kinder. He spent his childhood in the Walnut Hills neighborhood of Cincinnati attending Windsor Elementary School and Withrow High School. He was married for 27 years to Donna June Kinder (Anderson) with whom he had 3 children.
Bill’s career was spent in sales having worked many years for Getz Jewelers; as the manager of Osterman Jewelers in Durham, NC; and as the proprietor of his own jewelry store. Bill spent his later years selling home improvements, which he really loved. He enjoyed a great passion for classic cars, hot rods and NASCAR. He loved the N.C. coast, a good cup of coffee, Christmas, clowns, Cincinnati Chili, a good cold beer and his family.
He will be missed by his children: Leah Rade, Sharon Kinder-Geiger and David Kinder; their spouses, Mike Rade and Renee Kinder; his brother James David Kinder; his grandchildren Alana Meek, Michael B.Rade II, Shayna Kinder, David Kinder, Jr, Shalayah Kinder, Jolianna Jones and his sweet great-grandchild, Connor, with whom he loved to eat pizza, and many faithful friends.
A Rebirth Day Celebration is being planned to take place on August 15, 2015 from 5-7PM at 6919 Cambridge Ave. Cincinnati, Ohio 45227.
