SARAKATSANNIS
Carolyn J, 75 of Newport passed away surrounded by friends and family at her home on April 1, 2015. Carol loved her family and friends as well as shopping, animals and reading. She was a hairdresser for over 50 years owning her own shop Carols Cut & Curl and later working for E-Jays. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Sarakatsannis, parents George and Peggy Kuntz, sister Kathleen Thomas and brother George Kuntz. She is survived by her loving daughter Mareka (Bob) Scott, son Dean Sarakatsannis, brother Kenny (Wanda) Kuntz and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or an animal/rescue shelter of your choice. Carolyn has donated her body to medical science. Fares J.
