Howard L. Fischer Jr, 83, of Cold Spring, KY, passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center. Howard was a retired educator of Ft. Thomas school system. He was a lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Highland Heights, KY. Howard was a graduate of Campbell County High School, Morehead State University and Xavier University. Howard was a Gideon making sure bibles were placed where they were needed most. Howard is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joyce Ann Fischer (nee Cooper); dedicated father of Cindy (Rick) Ashworth, Beth Fischer and Tracy (Wayne) Clark; compassionate grandfather of Ryan (Adrienne) Ashworth, Melanie (Brent) Lengel, Christopher (Lisa) Clark and Jonathan Clark. Along with countless people that called him Grandpa Fischer. He has 1 great granddaughter (Adalyn) whom was his heart; beloved brother of Lora Cann and Martha Anne Schmidt. There will be a memorial in honor of Howard to celebrate his life on November 5, 2016 at 11 am at Asbury United Methodist church in Highland Heights. Interment at the Alexandria Cemetery.
