Margaret Witte (nee Sauerbeck), 94, of Camp Springs, passed away on February 1, 2016. She had left school after the 8th grade to work as a domestic in order to help out her family financially. During the war, she worked at Wadsworth Watch Case. She raised three children, then obtained her GED, and went to work as a bookkeeper at Home Aide Service until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy, her sister, Marie, and two brothers, Joe and Albert. She is survived by her son Curtis Witte, daughter Connie Witte, and grandson T.J. Ball. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Church, Camp Springs.
Marjie was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be remembered best for her amazing strength in the face of adversity, sustained always by her faith, her family and her friends.
Visitation with the family on Monday, February 8th, at 10:00 AM, St. Joseph Church, Camp Springs, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Church, Camp Springs, or a special act of kindness to a person or an animal in need.
