Opsie Rae, 76 of Newport passed away Feb 19 at St. Elizabeth Ft. Thomas. She was a retired seamstress for Serta mattress. Rae is preceded in death by her loving husband Steven Ballis, Jr. Survived by her dear sons Anthony (Joseph Lacey) Ballis and Tommy (Wendy) Combs, 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, sisters Yvonne Brown, Marie Brown, Geneva Hammeral and Christine Brown and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wed, Feb 25 from 11am until time of service at 1pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
