Richard C, “Rick”, 63 of Independence passed away March 23rd at his home. He was a technician in automotive training. Rick is survived by his brothers Bishop Paul Kenneth Waibel and Harold (Jackie) Waibel, sisters Kathy (Tom) Weigand and Judy (Paul) Meyer, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorials are requested to St. Mychal the Martyr Church, 533 Hopewell Park, Lexington, KY 40511. Visitation will be held Friday, March 27 from 5-8pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, March 28 with open communion at 10am at the funeral home.
