Rose Mary (Saylor) Edwards 93, formerly of Covington, born April 28, 1923 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Exie Lane Saylor and Edith Myrtle Saylor (Stephenson) passed peacefully at her daughters’ home in Sarah, MS on October 17, 2016. Rose married Harold Yelton Edwards on May 4, 1940 in Florence, KY. She was the eldest sister to Gloria (Roaden) Floyd and Robert Saylor, all which have proceeded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Edith (Larry) Young of Sarah, MS; two grandsons, Travis of Sarah, MS and Brandon (Linsey) of Enumclaw, WA, 4 great-grandchildren, five nieces and many great nieces and nephews. Rose retired from St. Elizabeth Health Care/Toddler Inn and volunteered 30 years and over 10,000 hours at St. Elizabeth. She was also a dedicated volunteered at Life Line Ministries. She enjoyed travel and the company of her many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27 starting at 9 am until the time of service at 11 am; both at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial will take place immediately afterwards at Floral Hills. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to the Garden of Hope, 699 Edgecliff Rd., Covington, KY 41014
