Susan Kay (Ward) Buczak, 67, of Amelia passed away peacefully on June 5,2015. Susan was born on January 5, 1948 in Marion, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert Ward & Marjorie Ward.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Myron Buczak of Amelia; her daughter Jennifer (Troy) Warner of Paris, IL; her son Benjamin (Kelly) Buczak of Batavia; 6 grandchildren, Justin (Samantha) Warner of Sebastian, FL; Jennifer (Josh) Reed of East Liverpool, OH; Matthew & Joshua Warner of Paris, IL; and Drew & Cameron Kendrick of Batavia, OH and 8 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 brothers; Robert (Denise) Ward of Middletown, PA; John (Sharon) Ward of Batesville, AR; Richard (Janet) Ward of Seville, OH; and a sister, Deborah (Terrance) Inman of Medina, OH. Susan also had 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great niece and 1 great nephew.
Susan was retired from the State of Ohio Job & Family Services in Clermont County. She had a love for people and enjoyed helping them. As a granddaughter of a United Methodist preacher, she enjoyed spending summers at Lakeside, OH, a tradition she shared with her children, grandchildren & family. Susan, along with her husband, was a member of the Coastguard Auxiliary and enjoyed boating, camping, and being with her family. She was also a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Batavia, OH. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing, reading and swimming. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held on June 12,2015 at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 4312 Amelia Olive Branch Road, Batavia, from 11 AM to 12 Noon. The Memorial Service will begin at Noon. Pastor Joe Royer will be officiating the service.
