HENSGEN

Vivian C., 93, passed away November 2, 2014. Loving wife of 68 years of
late John Hensgen. Survived by children, Michael (Catherine) Hensgen,
Kathleen Ward, Gary (Linda) Hensgen, Joan (Ron) Arthur and the late
William John Hensgen; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1
great-great grandson; brothers, Bailey and Tommy (Pam) Crawford;
sister-in-law, Claire Crawford and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Vivian was passionate about helping people. Vivian and John opened their
hearts and home to more than 50 foster children between 1955-1962. As an
educator, she dedicated her life to serving individuals with
disabilities. She was the driving force in starting the adult
residential home, now known as the Vivian Hensgen Home. She worked with
Clermont County Board of Mental Retardation for 35 years and a long-time
board member of the Clermont County Special Olympics. She has inspired
her family and community to continue her mission. Celebration of life
will be held November 7, from 10am until time of service at 1 pm at
Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 5950 Kellogg Ave. Inurnment to follow at
Pierce Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to
Vivian Hensgen Home, care of C.A.R.H., 1710 US Highway 50, Batavia, OH
45103.
