William Watts Cowgill, age 70, passed away January 23, 2016. Bill was born March 3, 1945 to Maude and Don Cowgill, of Wilmington, OH. He attended Wilmington grade school and high school. He went to the University of Cincinnati on a golf scholarship. He was captain of the golf team his senior year. After college, he attended Harvard Business School for his Master’s degree. After working for different companies, he started his own firm- Cowgill-Haberer. He retired early and devoted himself to golf. He was a member of Kenwood Country Club for 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bonnie Combs Cowgill; his 2 sisters, Patty (Dan) Shick and Cathe (Jim) Hosea. He leaves many nieces and nephews that he adored.
