David Lige Elliott, Jr – Resident of Cincinnati, OH, 60, died with family by his side on Sept 6, 2018. David was born March 1, 1958 to Shirley Ann Wells and David Lige Elliott, Sr. David’s life seemed too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. He loved the Lord and was not afraid to share God with those he came in contact with and he knew no strangers. He served in the United States Army for 8 years as an Artillery Repairman and Fire Control Instrument Repairer. Following the military he worked many years as a contractor and the past 12 years worked at VA Canteen Services retiring two years ago. Retirement years were spent fishing, camping, enjoying the outdoors and studying the word of God. Survived by spouse Rhonda Hall, daughter Stephanie Blythe, (2) Sisters, Debra Perrin and Kim Durst (Doug Durst), and (1) Brother, Michael Schmidt (Meredith Schmidt). One granddaughter, (3) nieces, (5) nephews and (3) great nieces. A Celebration of Life with friends and family will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 from 12:00 P.M. (Lunch will be served immediately following) at Dayton Baptist Church, 501 Dayton Ave, Dayton, KY 41074. Condolences may be sent to 14 Whispering Woods Lane, Alexandria, KY 41001.
