Ernest D. Stevens January 26, 1925 - August 23, 2019

Ernest D. Stevens died on Friday, August 23, 2019 of heart disease. Preceded in death by his brother, Martin Stevens.  He is survived by his sister-in-law, Rose Zimbardo-Stevens; niece, Cindy Stevens-Postle and her family of Long Beach, Ca.; nephews, David (Toshia) Stevens family of Little Rock, AR., and Paul Williams, RN of San Jose, CA; friends, Mr. and Mrs. Randy Baker and their children, Cameron and Kailynn; Loyal friend of 50 years, F. Joseph “Joe” Landrum, of Cold Springs, KY. Mr. Stevens was Captain at the Maisonette restaurant for 26.5 years and an employee of the Cincinnati Country Club until 2003. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Cincinnati is serving the family.

No formal service to be held.

    I was Ernie’s mail carrier for many (20)years prior to my retirement. I always enjoyed talking to him. Condolences to his family.

    My deepest condolences to Ernie’s friends and family. As a Captain at the Maisonette Restaurant he introduced an old world eloquence. His many stories of his life and travels will very much be missed by me. Ernie was one great gentleman, was very brave and stoic in his last days. Ernie rest in peace.

    Ernest was my maternal grandmother’s nephew. I’m sad Ernie has passed on and will always be greatful to Joe who looked after him so well for many, many years. My heartfelt condolences to Joe who has lost his best friend and to all the family. x
