Michael Patrick Owens, age 74, passed away on August, 28, 2026 at his home in Newtown, OH. He was born on January 8th, 1952 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Otis Owens and Faye Rose (Braesel). Michael attended Withrow High School and graduated in 1970. He became a master cabinet builder and has installed work all over the tri-state area. He was a life-long Elvis fan and even shared a birthday with “The King”. Michael became a member of the American Legion Post 484 in Mt. Washington and made good friends and shared good times there. He is survived by his companion, Linda Siegel and two daughters, Jennifer Fricke (David) and Miki Johns (Dean) and four grandchildren, Noah Rheude, Elijah Rheude, Vlademir Johns and Jossalynn Johns. Michael was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother Tony Owens and his wife, Sherry D. Owens. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the American Legion Post 484 in Mt. Washington, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to The American Red Cross.

As odd as some may believe it to be. His passing will not either. I will never again; run into him, talk, reminisce, or laugh with him. Yet, he will forever live in a corner of my heart.
