Girls and Bobby, I apologize I cannot drive in for the funeral today. I attempted, but our weather here in the Indy area is very icy and deteriorating. I am very disappointed but trying to be smart at my advanced age!

Your Mom (& Dad) were always my favorites. She was always kind and gracious. I have such fond memories from walking over to your house in Cincy to play; taking the bus to Hamilton with Grandma Ridge playing in the chicken coop; spending time at the lake; to the wedding dress she made for Barb. I can feel your Mom taking her hands and grasping my face and the glorious smile starring right back at me. She was special and I will miss her very much, but not nearly as much as all your families will.

I badly wanted to spend some time with everyone today crying and sharing and celebrating her life. I am fearful that this could very well be the last time I might see all of your families together as we know how difficult it is for us to be together. Please know I love all of you and have your parents and all of you & your families in my prayers.

    Roger
