Chad J. Metz, 35, of Cincinnati, passed away May 13, 2016. Chad loved to do anything outdoors- whether he was fishing, camping or boating, Chad loved it all. Chad was known for being one of the best self-taught mechanics and welders. Many people would ask for his help and he was always willing to lend a hand. Chad’s love of mechanics started with love of dirt bikes, off roading, trail rigs, 4-wheeling and low-riders. The person Chad loved most in this world was his son, Justin. Even though Chad and Justin did not get to spend much time together, Chad loved being his father and it was his proudest title.
Chad is survived by his son, Justin Metz; mother, Debbie Zwick; brothers, Brett and Matt (Stephanie) Metz; nieces, Hailey, Gracie and Lillie Metz; grandparents, Jerry and Rose Zwick; uncle, Mike (Amy) Zwick; cousins, Jill, Kara and Sophie Zwick and many other loving relatives. He is also survived by his special friends, Lisa Johnson and Nick Guessendorf and siblings, Steve Metz, Linda Morris and Lori Metz. Chad is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Metz and his uncle, Gene Zwick.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Visitation will be held Friday, May 20 from 5:00 pm until time of Celebration of Life service at 8:30pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 5950 Kellogg Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45230.
