Lena ”Libby” Johns (nee Simpson), 59, of Felicity, OH, died Thursday July 14th 2016.
Libby was born November 3, 1952, in Danville, KY to Ruth and Tunis Simpson. The family was moved to Cincinnati where Libby graduated from Amelia H.S. Libby later graduated from the Institute for Medical and Dental Technology and became a Medical Assistant. For a short time she owned her own cleaning company. She enjoyed singing, horseback riding, and spending time with her family and friends.
Libby was the beloved wife of Arnold Johns, mother of Michelle Murray, step-mother of Rebecca Schluttenhofer, Christina Johns and Matthew Johns. Grandmother of Dean and Dillan Murray, Bobby Schluttenhofer, and Kaylee Johns. Sister of the late Betty Baugh, Cathy Bowles, Brenda Simpson, Charles Simpson and Dallas Simpson.
Visitation will be held at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 5950 Kellogg Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45230, Saturday, July 23, at 1:00 pm, with service to follow at 4:00. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The League for Animal Welfare, 4193 Taylor Road, Batavia OH 45103, or at www.lfaw.org.
