Sally Quill, 85, passed away peacefully on the 6th of March 2017 at her East Walnut Hills residence. She will be remembered by friends and family for her colorful personality and fashion sense. As a young woman Sally modeled for the iconic store Gidding-Jenny, which began a lifelong interest in clothing and style. She was also a great lover of animals and an avid collector of antiquities. Sally was a graduate of Villa Madonna Academy and the St Elizabeth School of Nursing. As an ER nurse she worked at Mt Sinai in Miami Beach, and the former General (now University) Hospital in Cincinnati. She worked as a private duty nurse at Century City Hospital in Beverly Hills where her patients included Susan Hayward, Jacqueline Susann and Mary Tyler Moore to name a few. She was preceded in death by her father James Quill, a Kentucky Democratic Party leader and commonwealth attorney, mother, Mary Lyons Quill and husband, Dr. Ernest Royal Wilson. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Heather Rae Byer, brothers Reverend James Quill, Kevin Quill (Mary), nieces, Lauren Quill, Megan Bellamy (James) and grandniece Bentley. Special thanks to her longtime friend Kelly, as well as recent caregivers Paula and Lana. A memorial service will be held at St Rose Church in Cincinnati at 10:00am Friday, March 10.
