Our Brother and Uncle, Thomas M. Vincent, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025, at his residence in Anderson Township. He was preceded in death by parents Barney Vincent and Mary Vincent Porter and stepdad Phillip Porter; grandparents Fred and Eleanor Yingling and Dorothy Kelly; and nephew Clete. Tom is survived by siblings Jerry and Camilla Vincent, Steve and Gay Vincent, David and Theresa Vincent, Jennifer and Sean Brogan, and Tracy and Gary Martin. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews and 24 great nieces and nephews whom he adored.
Tom was born on October 10, 1963, and to sum up his life in one paragraph is not possible. To anyone who knew him, he was a guy with a quick laugh, a generous heart, and a yearning to catch the biggest fish in the world. He had a vast collection of stories, some of which were probably true, and he was the consummate salesman who could sell manure to a cow farmer. His career spanned 40 years as a car salesman, and he loved chasing the deal. We will all remember him as the kid who made you shake your head wondering what he was up to next. His happiest moments were spent with family and with a fishing pole in his hand. Tom will be missed and remembered by all who knew him and loved him.

December 16, 2025 at 2:21 amUncle Tommy,
You always had a story for us. I will forever remember riding in the back of your convertible down to Charleston. I am grateful for that time with you. The song Killing Me Softly by the Fugees was very popular and it played what felt like 100 times on the way down. I think of you every time I hear that song. Rest in peace
