Carlos E. Martinez, 60, passed away on March 3, 2026, in Cincinnati. He was born on March 3, 1966, in Caracas, Venezuela, the second child of Carlos Martinez Stolk and the late Maria Rodriguez Ganteaume. Carlos graduated from the University of Vermont and the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración with degrees in chemistry and finance. He married My (Mymy) Ha in October 2005 and remained in Cincinnati to work and raise his family. Carlos worked in Research and Development at Procter & Gamble in the United States, Italy, and Venezuela for over 20 years and was the Executive Vice President of R&D at SafeWhite before retiring as a consultant. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, movies, swimming, traveling, walking his dog, learning about new technology, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Mymy, his dear daughter Halsey, his father Carlos, his sister Isabel, and his brothers Luis and Andres. We will celebrate Carlos on March 7, 2026. Visitation will be from 2PM-4PM, followed by a celebration of life at 4PM at Fares J. Radel Funeral Homes, 5950 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the UC Barrett Cancer Center.
