Our son Paddy Scully passed away peacefully on Saturday 22nd November 2025, after a courageous 2 year fight against cancer.
Paddy was born 30th May 2007 in London, UK to parents Paul and MJ, later becoming big brother to Finn in 2009.
Paddy spent his early years in Sydney, Australia, before relocating to Cairns. He then lived in Singapore and Orlando before arriving in Cincinnati, where he attended The Heidt centre of Excellence for his high school years, and in his own words, “found my people”.
Paddy was an avid football (it’s not soccer!) player and fan with his beloved Manchester United kit often adorning his shoulders and always decorating his bedroom walls. His other passion was baking, and he loved to confuse us with his insane colouring and flavour combinations.
He was a dog lover, a nature lover and just a downright funny bloke, leaving his loving light with people all over the world!
A celebration of Paddy’s life will take place this coming Sunday, 30th November 2025 at 2:30pm EST, at
Fares J. Radel Funeral Home
5950 Kellogg Avenue (at I-275)
Cincinnati
Ohio 45230
We will also be raising a glass to Paddy at the DeadLow brewery after the service.
In lieu of flowers, we request, if you are able to, please make a donation to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Cancer Blood Disease Institute (CBDI) at

November 25, 2025 at 10:15 pmPaddy, you lit up every room the moment you walked in — it was impossible not to feel your energy, your humor, and that spark that made you so unforgettable. You had this rare gift of making people laugh even on their hardest days, and you never failed to bring a smile to anyone who crossed your path. Your cheeky comments, your witty comebacks, and the way you could turn an ordinary moment into something special… those are the things that will stay with me forever.
I’ll miss your presence more than I can ever explain, but I’ll carry our memories close to my heart. Every laugh we shared, every story, every moment of light you gave to the world — I’ll hold onto all of it. You were one of a kind, Paddy, and your impact will never fade.

December 5, 2025 at 9:09 amPaddy,
You were such a kind, human being to everyone. You made me laugh, smile, and everything you could do to make your people feel joy!
I am so sorry I did not get to make it with you to graduation but I did happen to see your video of your graduation ceremony and speech on your Instagram! I loved how you always said football ain’t soccer lol!
We will definitely miss seeing you around the area but I hope there’s a Manchester United game up there for you!
I’ll see you again someday,
Alanya Ozdil
