Wanda “Dianne” Miller (Jones) July 18, 1949 - June 12, 2025

Wanda “Dianne” Miller (Jones), age 75, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at HighlandSpring of Ft. Thomas. She was born on July 18, 1949, in Williamsburg, Kentucky, to the late Kathryn Ann Work (Jones). Dianne grew up in Williamsburg, Kentucky, with her late grandmother Zora (Higginbotham) Jones and late grandfather, James Franklin Jones, Sr. She married the late James Edwin Miller, who passed away on July 5, 2004, where they resided, in Madison, Indiana. Dianne was a longtime member of the Newport City Church of God and enjoyed singing in the choir. She also enjoyed attending the annual Jones Family Reunion. Dianne is survived by her stepdaughter, Regina Abbott; step grandchildren; great step grandchildren; sisters Mary Kay Work, Debbie Brenner, Sherry Eastin, Theresa Bolton, Kathy Wical; brother John Work, Jr.; aunt Jeanette Ellison; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, her grandparents, aunts and uncles and her very good friend, Verna Murray. There will be a gathering with a memorial service following on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm, at the Newport City Church of God, 401 Keturah St. Newport, KY 41071.
