Jonathon “Jody” Cox, 45, of Florence, Kentucky, passed away on August 28, 2026. He was born on April 18, 1981. He was from Maysville, Kentucky, and later made his home in Florence, Kentucky. He was a loving son, brother, and family member who cared deeply about the people he loved.
Jody had a love for many things in life, especially playing video games, animals, and football. He enjoyed the things that brought him happiness, but above all, he loved his family.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Wendy Cox. Survived by his father, Johnny Cox; his brothers, Jesse, Jacob, Jamey, and Cody; and his sister, Starr, along with extended family and loved ones.
Though his life was far too short, Jody will not be forgotten. He will always remain a part of his family’s lives and will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his love of animals, football, and the things that brought him joy.
Rest peacefully, Jody. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
