Carol (Kay) Thress, age 92, passed away on August 31, 2026, at Randall Residence, Tipp City. She was born on January 7, 1934, to Edna and Larry Young. Kay attended Fort Thomas High School and Miami University. She married Wendell (Pete) Thress. They lived all over Ohio, mostly in Cincinnati. Kay was a homemaker and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, art, cooking, family gatherings, and volunteering. Kay is survived by her children; Terry Thress, Robin Rucker, Greg Thress, and Tim Thress. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Kay was proceeded in death by her son, Glenn Thress and her husband. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 12pm at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home-Kellogg. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) in Amelia, Ohio.
