Cathy Kinman, age 74, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, in Crestview Hills, Kentucky. She was born on September 7, 1949, to the late Roy C. Kinman (RC) and Catherine Kinman. Cathy attended Bishop Brossart High School and went on to NKU. She later married and became a loving mother to her daughter, Julie Bricking, who passed away in 2004. Cathy worked at the Aquarium in Newport, Kentucky before retiring. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary, with the Wilder Fire Department, as well as serving on the board in her community of Signal Hill. Cathy is survived by her siblings Pete Kinman, Mark Kinman, and Alice Kinman Wolfson, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, her parents, and her siblings Theresa Lestingi, Pam Kinman, and John Kinman. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 10am until 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 4011 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076. Funeral Mass will follow at 11am on Monday at the church, with a luncheon there afterward. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Campbell County Animal Shelter, 198 Poplar Ridge Road, Melbourne, Kentucky, 41059, in Cathy’s memory. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home-Newport is handling the arrangements.
