Daniel Joseph Hunt, 70, died on April 18 at home in Fort Thomas, surrounded by family. He was born in Dayton, KY to the late Harry and Ruth Hunt and grew up in Bellevue. Daniel attended Northern Kentucky University and graduated in the inaugural class in 1968 with a B.S. in chemistry and biology and later studied biochemistry and physiology at LSU Medical Center. He married Gloria Hunt, nee McCane, in 1980. Daniel is survived by his wife, his brothers James and Terence, his sister Susie, and his sons Chris, Forest, Derek, and Phillip. Daniel was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia. For the last 17 years, Daniel was a project engineer at Kroger Manufacturing. He maintained a lifelong fascination with science, was a skilled handyman, enjoyed reading, helping family, and eating chocolate.
A gathering will be held on Saturday April 23rd at 2pm at the Little Country Missionary Baptist Church at 1924 Crown Ave. In Norwood, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Cancer Research Institute.
