Daniel L. Risch “Danny” November 24, 1938 - August 2, 2023

Daniel L. Risch “Danny”, age 84, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at The Pavilion at Kenton. He was born on November 24, 1938, in Covington, Kentucky to the late Alvin Risch and Evelyn Risch (nee Sullivan). Danny attended Newport Catholic High School and graduated in 1957. He worked at Specialty Envelope in Cincinnati and the IRS in Covington. In his spare time, he enjoyed writing to many women pen pal friends; watching baseball, especially the Philadelphia Phillies, and loved old movies, like Gunsmoke and Dead-End Kids. Danny is survived by his siblings; Carol (Richard) Haynes, Joann (Greg) Tunney, Gary (Mary Jo) Risch, Lois (Larry) Bryant, nieces and nephews; Jeff Haynes, Sherri Joyce, David Haynes, Andrew Risch, Amy Bolender, and Eric Risch. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 9am until 11am at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home-Newport. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 at Holy Spirit Parish, 825 Washington Ave, Newport, KY 41071. Interment at St. Stephens Cemetery.
