Donna Cofer March 21, 1948 - December 10, 2023

Donna Cofer, age 75, passed away on December 10th, 2023, in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She was born on March 21, 1948, in the same place where she lived all her life.  Donna was preceded in death by her father Ralph Young.  She is survived by her mother Margie Young, her husband Kent Cofer, her brothers Ronald Young and Richard Young, her daughter Joanna Cofer, her son Eric Cofer, her daughter in law Stacy Cofer and her grandchildren Madeline and Annabelle Cofer.

Donna was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother.  Some of her favorite things were cooking, entertaining, traveling and gardening. Her mastery of the culinary arts and her flair for entertaining were something to see and aspire to be.  The stories, the company and the meal all battled for top-billing.  If you were ever lucky enough to attend one of her dinner parties, you were surely in for a treat.

Donna valued her family above all else and was a loving soul who shared so much of herself with others. She touched many lives in meaningful ways by offering love, comfort, support and advice. Donna was an incredible mother and grandmother who would do anything for her children. She had a zest for life, constantly wanting to learn and experience new things which made her uniquely suited to care for and teach those things to her granddaughters who adored her.

They broke the mold when they made her! Absolutely no one was like her or will be like her again.  She was an incredible woman and her passing will leave a huge void in her family and in all the lives she touched.  A Celebration of Life will be held this Spring with invitations to follow.  If you would like to pay your respects, the family suggests you donate to Covenant House https://www.covenanthouse.org/node/50 in her memory.
