Dorothy Opal Hargett, 84 passed away Aug 19 in Phoenix, AZ. Dorothy was a waitress and a homemaker. She was born in Pendleton County, KY but lived most of her life in Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nolan and son Glenn Richerson. Survived by her sons Gary and Roger Richerson, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, brothers Melburn and Joseph Hargett, sisters Leona Tapp and Anna Maude Trapp and several nieces and nephews. Dorothy’s niece and nephew, Anita Race and Dale Hargett were more like a daughter and son and helped her anytime day or night. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all. A memorial service will be held Thurs, Aug, 29 from 7-8pm at Christ Baptist Church, 3810 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport serving the family.
