Edward (Ed) August Steinhaus, 91, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2023 at his home. He was born on October 25, 1932 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Edward and Dorothy Steinhaus. He married the late Dorothy (nee Kuhr) Steinhaus in 1958 at St Marks Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ed worked at General Electric for over 30 years, before retiring in 1992. In his spare time, he enjoyed macrame, crafts, nature walks and visiting with family and friends. Ed was a proud member of the United States Army. He is survived by Mark (Debra) Steinhaus, Paul (Shari) Steinhaus, and grandchildren Emma, Sophie and Jake Steinhaus. A gathering will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 10am followed by a service at 11am at Fares J Radel Funeral Home, 5950 Kellogg Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45230. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
