Eva S. Raum (nee Rothe), age 79 of Southgate, Kentucky passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021. Eva was born September 8, 1942, in Dayton, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Walter Rothe and Vivian Rothe (nee Nagle). She was the beloved partner of the late Charles “Cork” Fulmer; loving mother of James (Kerrie) Raum, and the late Rhonda Raum; grandmother of Jaclyn (Johnny) Woods and Jimmy Raum; great grandmother of McKenzie Turner and Tanner Woods; step great grandmother of Seth Davis and Aiden Faulkner; sister of Stanley (Joan) Rothe; aunt of David (Liza) Rothe; and ex-wife of the late George Raum.
Eva enjoyed many things throughout her life, she loved to go fishing, playing the slots and the casino, shopping and making crafts, and Christmas was her favorite holiday to celebrate. But the most important thing in her life was her family, she always made sure she was there for them. Eva was such a gentle soul and was liked by everyone she met.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 7th at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 822 York St, Newport, Kentucky at 12:00 PM. Visitation hours will be from 10:00 AM until time of service.
