Faye Harness June 15, 1929 - November 17, 2025

Faye Harness (Johnson), age 96, of Cincinnati, Ohio,
passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 17, 2025.

Born on June 15, 1929, in Russell Springs, Kentucky, Faye was the daughter of the late Okle and Flora (Gaskin) Johnson. She retired from NuTone after 40 years of dedicated service. A devoted follower of Christ, Faye lived a life filled with faith, kindness, and love. She cherished her family and friends deeply and will be remembered for giving the very best hugs, her loud and joyful laughter, and the desserts she lovingly prepared during the holidays—especially her jello fruit salad that everyone enjoyed. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, devotion, and generosity, and she is deeply missed by all who knew her.

Faye was preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, Melvin Harness; an infant daughter; her son James R. Davidson; her granddaughter Ashley Marie Harness; and her siblings Glendo Johnson, Doris Aaron, Janis Aaron, Mary Morgan, Aubrey Johnson, and Roger Johnson.

She is survived by her brother Benge Johnson of Russell Springs, Kentucky; her son Dale (Ann) Harness of Bethel, Ohio; step-son Ray (Carol) Harness of Mason, Ohio; step-daughter Carol (Michael) Owen of Lexington, Kentucky; grandson Richard Moeckel of Bethel, Ohio; granddaughter Lindsey (Michael) Blume of Nicholasville, Kentucky; grandson Justin Harness of Mason, Ohio; and eight great-grandchildren: Madison Moeckel, Richard Moeckel, Aubrey Harness, Elizabeth Moeckel, Ava Blume, Nathan Moeckel, Jack Blume, and Grant Blume.

Visitation will be held at Fares J. Radel Funeral Homes and Crematory,
5950 Kellogg Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45230, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM.
Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Gardens in Milford, Ohio.
