Gordon Allen Casebolt, 49, passed away on July 30, 2026 at Emory University Hospital in Decatur, GA. Gordon was one of a kind and would do anything to make you smile. He was born on November 7, 1976 to Roy Casebolt, Sr. and Myrtle Sue Tucker. He attended Newport High School and graduated in 1996. He worked at LaRosas Pizzeria in Cold Spring for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, fishing, karaoke and spending time with his friends and family. He is preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Goins and stepchild Justin Herald. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Herald, children Joshua Casebolt and Cody Casebolt, Stepson James Herald (T’Aaliyah), parents Roy Casebolt, Sr. and Myrtle Sue Tucker, siblings, Donald Goins, Jr. (Kristi), Roy Casebolt, Jr. (Christe) Helena Tipton (Russell), Regina Hernandez, Derrick Fortner and James Stull, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. A gathering will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 822 York St, Newport.
