September 16, 2022 at 1:15 amJanie is my Aunt Katie’s lifelong best friend. Aunt Katie has always been like a second Mom to me and I spent a large portion of my life at Aunt Katie’s as a kid. I don’t think there was ever a day that Aunt Katie’s when her and Janie didn’t talk or visit and because of this great friendship, I knew Janie. As a young girl, I remember spending the night with Janie and Kenny sometimes too. I always thought Janie was so glamorous. As I grew, I came to love and adore the incredible sense of humor that was Janie and Aunt Katie together!!! The two of them together was hilarious. There were many many days I would have tears rolling down my face laughing at the two of them. So ornery and so fun. I always knew Janie loved me and truly believed she would have been there for me if I were ever in need. I loved her voice and listening to her talk. I can hear her voice in my head now saying “Teres” or calling me honey. I loved the memories of my childhood with Aunt Katie and Janie.. She will be missing, loved, thought of fondly and adored for my lifetime.
