MARTIN
James “Jim”, 88, of Newport, KY passed away on Saturday, February 20. He was the last surviving child of Rome and Lillie Martin. Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Dorothy Martin, his son Ronald Keith Martin, his daughter Dana (Lee) Wood, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Jim was a proud vet of WWII serving multiple tours in both the Army and the Air Force, then he continued his need for protection retiring as a security guard from Riverfront Place. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 24 from 4pm to 8 pm at Fares J Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Services and burial will take place Thursday, February 25 at 1 pm in the Chapel at Winchester Cemetery, 625 West Lexington Avenue, Winchester, KY 40391.
