Joe Smith, age 77, of Batavia, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025. He was born on May 4, 1948, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Lonnie Smith and Mamie Hamby. Joe is survived by his sister Linda Collins, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sisters Frankie Thorton and Amy Smith, and brothers John, Frank, Bill, and George Smith. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 4pm until 6pm at the Fares J. Radel Funeral Home-Kellogg. Funeral service will follow on Thursday at 6pm at the funeral home. Private burial at a later date.
