Joey Stephen Ditmore, May 02, 1961 – October 02, 2021, Beloved husband of the late Sandra Ditmore; son of the late Rosa Lee Ditmore; son in-law of Shirley and the late Jack Strauss; father of Josh Ditmore (Whitney Homa), Ashley Ditmore, Samantha Ditmore, Jesse Ditmore and Justin Marsh; step-father of Sean Duncan, Devin Duncan, Spencer Duncan, Drew Duncan, and Danielle Duncan; Treasured grandfather of 8. Joey was a hard working, dedicated father and family man. He is survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Joey served our country proudly as a young man in the U.S. Navy until his honorable discharge in 1982. Joey passed suddenly and unexpectedly after a recent diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He suffered from a devastating stroke while hospitalized at UC Medical Center and passed with his loving children by his side. He will be dearly missed by all. Memorial gathering will be held Thursday, October 21 at 6:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 pm, located at Fares J Radel Funeral Home, 5950 Kellogg Ave Cincinnati, OH 45230.
