John now joins the love of his life and wife of twenty seven joyful years, Alice Obrey McNamara. John is, also, preceded in death by his father, John F. McNamara, his mother Rosela McNamara, (nee Evanson) his sister, Rosalie Plosnich (John), son, John H. McNamara and step son, Mark K. Fay. He is survived by son, James M. McNamara (Gillian), step sons Kevin P. Fay (Llewellyn), Garrett O. Fay (Patty), step daughter, Mary Lee K. Robinson (Peter), grandchildren, Eric W. Shaner (Abby), Kelsey S. Martín (Andrew), Lukas I. Fay, Malia K. Robinson & Katie V. McNamara. John hailed from Maywood, Illinois and proud to be Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He was aptly resourceful and an entrepreneur at heart. He was an engineer, inventor, longtime member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and worked in the blow molding industry for years. He eventually opened Blowmolding Automation Specialists, LLC. with his beloved HoneyBee. They were true partners in life and immeasurably devoted to one another. He was a man of a thousand stories, a voracious reader, quick witted & had strong convictions. John will dearly be missed and reside in our hearts forever as the gentle, yet vibrant Irishman. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10AM prior to the Celebration of Life at 11AM, Anderson Hills United Methodist Church 7515 Forest Road. Immediately following, there will be an Honor Guard presentation of the Colors at Spring Grove Arboretum 4521 Spring Grove Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans Wounded Warrior Project. www.woundedwarriorproject.org
