John L. Miller, Jr., age 80, of Port Clinton, Ohio passed away August 25, 2011. Born in Chicago, Illinois, December 24, 1930, John (Doc) was the loving father of Scott Miller (Laurie), Kim Miller-Burke (Terry), LuAnn Duffy and Janet Deimling (Dan), the cherished pawpaw of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and dear brother of Marge Dietmeier. He was friend and colleague to many in Cincinnati and Port Clinton. After attending Ohio State University he served as a dentist in the United States Air Force and later settled in Cincinnati to practice Oral Surgery. He retired to Port Clinton and enjoyed his later years working on the Jet Express. A celebration of John’s life will be held at Mr. Ed’s in Port Clinton on Sunday, Sept. 5 from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or the Humane Society
