John P “Jack”, 71 of Cold Spring passed away Feb 5 at his home. He was a consultant in the insurance industry and served our country in the Army. He is preceded in death by his son Erin L. Fries. Jack is survived by his children Elizabeth and Chelsea Fries, brothers Dennis and Brian Fries, ex-wife Dawn Fries, nephews Cody and Casey Owens, Brian, David, Christopher and Mark Fries and niece Julie Jones. A memorial mass was held in Jack’s memory at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport serving the family.
