FESSLER
John W. Fessler, Sr., 94, of Newport, was called to his Heavenly home December 26, 2017. John was a former employee of TANK Transportation for 37 years and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran- he served in Italy and North Africa. He was a proud member of Lawler Hanlin VFW Post 5662 in Newport. He is survived by his son, John W. Fessler, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Jill Fessler nee Loos and his grandson, Michael Fessler. He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Fessler nee Grueter; wife, Marcy Fessler nee Grueter and grandson, Jack Mason Fessler. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 30th from 9:00 am at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 822 York St Newport, KY, prayer service to follow at 10:30 am. Interment at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia.
