MALLOY
Following a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Joseph Malloy peacefully passed into his Savior’s arms on 2/12/13.
Raised in Philadelphia, PA, Joseph played football at the University of Dayton, where he met his future wife Patricia Kinsella of Ft. Thomas, Ky.
Following graduation, and a stint in the US Army, settled in northern Kentucky and began long teaching career that included Covington Catholic High School, Courter Tech High School, Taft High School and Newport Junior High School. As a Special Education Teacher with a gift for working with urban youth, he had a positive impact on thousands of children in the Greater Cincinnati area.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be truly missed and fondly remembered. He is survived by loving wife, Pat, devoted sons Sean (Jeff), Kevin (Glenna), Marty (Linda), six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Service will be held 10:00am Friday at St. Thomas Church, Ft. Thomas, KY, followed by internment at St. Stephen Cemetery in Ft. Thomas. Memorials to St.Thomas Church and Hospice of the Bluegrass. Fares J. Radel Funeral Home serving the family.
