Karen Christine Lonnemann passed away peacefully on July 14, 2023, at Siena Gardens Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Karen was born in Covington Kentucky to Mildred and Joseph Lonnemann in 1947. She will be missed by her sister Mary Jo Day and her husband Jim and their children Jamie and Matthew, their spouses and children. She will be fondly remembered by her many Burke and Ottke cousins, especially Tricia Burke who was her helpmate for 30 years.
Karen loved her pets, her artwork, mystery books, bingo, and playing games on her computer. She loved all things Disney and visited more than 15 times over the years. She was an avid Reds fan and traveled often with the Rosie Reds in her younger days. Karen knew how to live in the moment and find joy in the simplest of things. Think of her anytime you have a Frisch’s Big Boy or Arby’s Beef Cheddar sandwich!
Graveside services will be held on July 21st at 10:00 am at St. John’s Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, Ky. Donations in her honor may be made to Bellacare Hospice or Siena Gardens.
