Laura J. Lape (nee Andejeski), 90, formerly of Bellevue, KY passed away February 3, 2023, at the Villages of Erlanger. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, James F. Lape. Survived by her beloved children Susan (Michael) Whitehead, Patti (Joe) Woeste, Jim (Judi) Lape, Tom (Joanne) Lape and Dan (Lisa) Lape, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Laura was a devoted wife and mother and later worked for the IRS and Catholic Social Services. She was a self-taught seamstress and baker and loved to watch her birds and ducks. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, February 10 at 11am at Holy Spirit Church, Newport with Msgr. Williams Cleves officiating. Laura will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Stephens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to Villages of Erlanger, 2990 Riggs Ave, Erlanger, KY 41018 or to Father Beiting Appalachian Mission Center, 524 South Highway 3, Louisa, KY 41230. Fares J.
