Linda D. Walker June 6, 1951 - December 16, 2020

Linda D. Walker age 69, loving wife, mother and grandmother, while holding hands with her husband, passed away at 3:14 pm on December 16, 2020 in her home in Williamsburg, Ohio.  She loved her grandchildren who were the major focus in her life. She relished with delight playing with her pets; cats Diva, Cat Woman “Cattie”, Jazimine, dogs Baron and Aurora and her turtle, Orga. A nurse for years, she become disabled and retired in 1999. She enjoyed photography and loved taking pictures of her family, mostly her grandkids. She loved photographing “sunrises” and candid shots of all her pets. She would say “They’re family too”. On the flip side, she hated having herself photographed. She loved long “joy rides” in the country and to go antiquing and tending to her roses and indoor plants. She enjoyed watching TV and was a big fan of the Hallmark Channels. If she liked a movie, she would watch it over and over. Linda loved rock-n-roll but enjoyed all types of music. She loved incense burning in the house.

She is preceded in death by her father, Walter C. Jones and brothers Walter “Sonny”, Kenny and William. She leaves behind her loving husband Bill of 43 years, son Gregg L. Walker, grandchildren Rachel A. Walker, Viktor D. Walker, Ammon D. Walker and Nicolas N. Sabet, mother Bertha Jones, sisters Jean Keiller, Merry Leyes and Kim Malin and brothers Keith, Matt, Mike and Derek Jones.

Always and forever a free spirit, Linda now soars with the angels. A Celebration of life will take place at Fare J. Radel Funeral Home, 5950 Kellogg Ave, Cincinnati, OH (at I-275) on December 28, 2020 from 5pm – 7pm. Come as you are, no need to get dressed up. This is just family and friends getting together to celebrate Linda.

Sis was the most honest person I have ever known. Very free spirited, one of the traits Linda had. She freely spoke her mind. Even though she could be too blunt at times, you always knew her opinion on any subject. Linda was instrumental in giving me my biggest passion in life, music. While we rarely spent time together as adults, it was always special to me when we did crossed paths. I love you sis.

Your presence always filled the room and it feels so empty without you in it.

You were a great mom who helped me through so many things in my life and I’m thankful to you for more than I can express in words.

    I will miss you.
