Mrs. Linda Marie Uehlein Bowman (68), a beloved daughter, stepmother, grandmother, niece, cousin, and friend, passed away December 21, 2025. Born April 8, 1957, to her late parents, Mr. James Uehlein and Mrs. Virginia Reynolds Uehlein. She is preceded in death by her husband Mr. Jake Bowman Sr, her brother Pastor Jimmy Uehlein, her sister Elizabeth Uehlein, her Aunt Peggy Hunt, Uncle Roy Reynolds, Uncle Jack Uehlein, and Aunt Marian Sorrell.
Linda lived a very simple life growing up in the Nazarene Church. Her brother was a pastor, and her mother was a Kindergarten and Sunday School Teacher. She spent a lot of time with her cousins at the family farm in Kentucky. Linda worked as a Medical Assistant and a Professional Truck Driver. She was a free- spirited, “fly-by-the- seat-of-her-pants girl,” and had a hippie kind of soul. She loved all things purple preferably with some “bling.” She enjoyed all kinds of music, but her favorite was her love for Elvis Presley. Her biggest passion and joy in life were her watching her grandchildren grow up and her dog, Maggie.
Linda is survived by her Aunt Kathy Sampson, her cousins Sandy Jones, Janet Jones, Stacey Young, Tracey Miles, Lori Solis, and Leslie Melendez, her grandchildren Romeo Bowman, Skyler Fabre, Jordan Fabre, Lily Fabre, and Chance Fabre, and their mother Devan Fabre.
Memorial Service will be held January 10, 2026 from 1-3 pm with service at 3 pm.
