Marlene, 58 of Highland Heights passed away Nov 25 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Ft. Thomas. Marlene retired after 30 years as a tax examiner with the IRS. She is preceded in death by her son Donald Carnes. Survived by her loving husband Steve Carnes, son Ronnie Carnes, daughter Mary (Tom) Nitschke, 5 grandchildren, brothers Rick and Everett Anderson, sisters Kathy McComas and Jane Turner and many neices and nephews. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017. Visitation will be held Thurs, Nov 29 from 5-8pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Cold Spring. Services will be held at the funeral home on Fri, Nov 30 at 10am. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
