Maxine Maines, 81 (Nee Chasteen), formally of Highland Heights, KY passed away on June 20, 2018 at The Seasons of Alexandria with her loving family by her side. Maxine loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. She also enjoyed a good game of bingo and always up for a trip to the casino. Maxine was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond Maines, parents Ernest and Viola Chasteen, brother Arnold Chasteen and sister Gail Chasteen. She is survived by her dear children Randy (Lisa) Maines, David (Michelle) Maines and Lisa (Tom) Jordan, and brother Lowell (Laverne) Chasteen. Maxine adored her grandchildren Olivia Maines, Evan, Kiersten and Aaron Maines, Griffin, Parker and Nolan Jordan. We want to thank the staff for their exceptional care that was given at The Season’s (formally Baptist Convalescent) and the compassionate care given by St. Elizabeth Hospice. Memorials are requested in Maxine’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn St #1026, Cincinnati OH 45203 or St. Elizabeth Hospice, 483 S. Loop Rd, Edgewood, KY 41017. Visitation will be held Monday, June 25 from 10am until time of service at 11:30am at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, Newport. Burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
