Mikeala Jean Raleigh, passed away on May 17 at Bethesda North Hospital. She was born on January 7, 1950 in Dayton Kentucky to the late George and Irene “Mickey” Mason. Mikeala (Mikey Jean ) attended Lady Of Providence in Newport Ky She got married to her husband,James Raleigh on June 15th her senior year They eloped in Michigan and had 50 beautiful years together. She worked to take care of her family for many years. She enjoyed her community service with church and loved her family and all family functions. She has five children . 3 surviving :James (jimbo) Raleigh (Margaret), George Raleigh (Eric), Melissa Raleigh (Mark) and her Late Daughter Michele Raleigh Mays and Late son David James Raleigh. Surviving grand children: Christopher Raleigh, Paige Hegge (Tyler) , Mercedes Browning (Austin), Richard (RJ) Browning (Marie), Logan Raleigh (Emily), Megan Raleigh (Vicent), Andrew and Jackson, Chad Raleigh (Chelsea), James (Jim) Raleigh (Kayla), Alicia Sparkle (Paul) and Jazzmyn Commodore. Surviving great grand children: Dominic Piacente, Sophia Combs, Brynden and Ariel Raleigh, Londyn and Flora Raleigh, Peyton Walker and Troy Horton, and her beloved animals dog Bryson and cat Tiger. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 25 from 5pm until time of service at 7pm at Fares J. Radel Funeral Home, 822 York St, Newport.
