Mildred L. Kincaid (nee Poe), 98, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2023. She was born and lived on a farm in Georgetown, Kentucky before moving to Shelbyville, KY. She attended Kentucky Wesleyan College where she met her husband-to-be and love of her life, William (Bill) Kincaid, Jr. They were married for more than 60 yrs. Mildred worked at McAlpin’s for 29 years as Personnel Mgr. She resided at Twin Lakes in Montgomery, OH for 14 yrs., after the passing of her husband. Mildred is survived by her sister Alice, son Scott, daughters-in-law, Mary (Weaver), Dawn (Burton), and Bonnie (Lemons), 3 grandchildren Ellen, Matthew, and John, 2 great-grandchildren, and another on the way. Also survived by many other family members and “Poe Cousins”. She is preceded in death by husband, Bill, sons, Steve, Jeff and granddaughter Lauren.
