It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Norma Jean Campbell who departed this life on August 4, 2025, at the age of 85. Jean was a woman of unwavering faith, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her belief in God was the foundation of her life – a guiding light that shaped her words, her actions and her love for others. Family was everything to Jean. She gave her time generously, listened with compassion, and supported her loved ones with quiet strength and steady hands. Her home was a place of warmth and welcome, where meals were shared, and laughter echoed. Though we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the life she lived – faithful and full of love. She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Michael) Nutini, granddaughter Amberly Nutini, grandson Jason (Britney) Ping, great-grandchildren Bryson, Braelynn and Avery Ping, sisters Sue (Ralph) Lyons and Pam Bogie, brother James (Peggy) Butler, son-in-law Richard Ping, brother-in-law Martin Henderson, sister-in-laws Sherry Butler and Loretta Butler and many nieces and nephews. She is reunited in Heaven with her husband Elmer D. Campbell, daughter Teresa L. Ping, parents Burl and Eva Butler, sisters Lilly Mae Butler and Shirley Henderson, brothers Dale Butler, Billy (Sue) Butler, Leroy Butler and Harold Butler. In lieu of flowers, remembrances are requested to First Baptist Church Cold Spring for the woman’s ministry or music ministry. A service honoring her life and faith will be held August 8, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Cold Spring, 4410 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076 with Bro.
